Wild-caught Alaskan shrimp are delicious fried in a light coating and nestled inside a warm tortilla.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp, shelled and deveined (patted dry)
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dark chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 package corn tortillas
- 1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 avocados, pitted and thinly sliced (dressed in lime juice to prevent browning)
- 1-2 red serrano peppers (or similar)
- 1 lime (for garnish)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
Directions
- In a bowl whisk together the cornstarch, paprika, chili powder, and salt and pepper. Toss shrimp to thoroughly coat.
- Heat a saute pan over medium-high heat and add oil.
- Working in batches, cook the shrimp until golden brown about 1-2 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Build tacos with shrimp, sauce, cabbage, cilantro, avocado, and peppers.
